Honey
- Our
Honey is 100% Pure Canadian Honey, made by
our own bees near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
- Since we are a CFIA registered and
inspected
apiary, we grade and package our own honey, ensuring that only the best
honey reaches you our customer.
- Our honey is what some people call
"Raw honey".
Our honey is not
heat
treated, pressure filtered or pasteurized.
- Most honey that stays liquid and
does not
crystallize has been treated in
some fashion in order to keep it in that form. Honey starts
out
as a liquid in the hive, but it's natural process is to crystallize
into the spreadable form that we sell.
- Honey
that is kept dry will keep indefinitely and does not need to be
refrigerated. The only way honey will ferment is if it is
allowed
to absorb moisture either from water getting into the container or by
absorbing moisture from the air. The most common way for
honey to
absorb moisture from the air is if the container is left open for a
prolonged period of time.

Beeswax
- All
of the beeswax we sell is taken from our own
hives. It is melted, and poured into a variety of convenient
weights for our customers.
- Our beeswax can be used for many
purposes,
including candle making, various arts and crafts, batik fabric dyeing,
dreadlock hair care, and lubricating zippers.
- Beeswax
melts at 63°C.

Candles
- Never leave a lit candle unattended.
- We make candles from our own beeswax
and
guarantee that they are 100% Beeswax.
- Burning 100% Beeswax candles is
reputed to clean
the air by emitting negative ions which attach to positive ions
floating in the air. These then fall to ground, leaving the
air
cleaner.
- 100% Beeswax candles burn longer and
cleaner
than candles made with any percentage of paraffin wax.
