Beeswax is flammable so do not heat it over an open flame. Wax melts at 63°C and should not be heated to above 85°C. Because the natural color of beeswax varies, the color you receive may range from golden yellow to light brown. 100% Natural beeswax, as it ages, oxidizes on the surface as a white bloom. This can be removed simply by rubbing the wax or by warming it with a hairdryer.  Brick on left has bloom while brick on right has no bloom. |
